This is... new.
It was a new planet. They'd already dealt with the treaties and were given permission to explore the planet. So that's what Jim was doing. Exploring. It's when he sees the beautiful woman not that far from him. She seemed so out of place compared to everyone else here.

"Very good," Sexy nods decisively, stroking the wall gently

"Of course it is. What's the use of having a ship if she doesn't take care of her crew?" He asks with a bit of a smile. "We love her and she loves us."

"As well you should. A vexed ship does not a good vessel make."

"Pretty sure we've never vexxed her. And she'd let us know if we had, I hope," he says. Despite the war she's already been in.

Sexy hums approvingly, looking around curiously.

"You're free to look anywhere you want but I have to be with you." Jim points out.

"Darling, if I wanted to disappear, I would have by now." Sexy smiles, amused.

"I'm not saying you couldn't. I'm just saying I need to be with you when you explore. CeCe isn't too fond on strangers. So I want to make sure she doesn't try anything to throw us out," he all but teases. He knows the ship won't do that. Even as he gives Sexy a smile he reaches over caressing the wall of the ship.

"Oh, no! She must sense I'm a ship." Sexy muses, touching the wall lightly.

"Possibly. I don't know what she can or can't sense."

"Don't you, darling?" Sexy pats the wall happily. "If she has any type of energy sensors, she should."

That gets a bit of a laugh out of Jim. "She does have energy sensors. She's just that amazing." It's obvious that he loves his ship.

"Well then." Sexy kisses her forefinger and releases a tendril of energy.

Jim raises a slight brow at her, "What exactly are you doing?"

"As long as it doesn't hurt her or do anything weird to my ship..." The young captain states watching her. "Because I really don't want Scotty to bitch about needing to fix her over something I can't explain."

"It depends on whether or not she can handle it," Sexy tilts her head at the captain. "I assure you, if any damage is done I can fix it."

"I'm guessing that she's handling it so far..." He says with a raised brow. "Nothing has happened yet."

"Good," Sexy beams pleasantly. "I will take that as approval."

"... Approval as she didn't mind it? Or do you mean something else all together?" Really, Jim is just a tad bit confused right now. And he doesn't like being confused all that much.
